Pink Pink Pink

The cutest time of the year is upon us. GALENTINES DAY provides us with a never ending amount of frills, hearts, poofs, and SO MUCH PINK! Nothing ever stops me from wearing ballerina skirts, but it feels especially festive right now.

I think that pink on pink on pink is always a good idea. So is glitter. Always.

The corset in these photos in an old hand-me-down that I never knew how to wear, but it turns out it's perfect with princess skirts! Oooohhhh la la! The (p)leather jacket adds a cute badass babe vibe...so if you're not into the full-on princess look, it perfectly dresses it down.

The point is: have fun and do whatever the fluff you want on Valentine's Day. Treat yoself! Be sparkly! Eat ten pounds of chocolate! OR MAKE LUV TO YOURSELF! Yessss!

I present you: outfit inspo in the smallest arcade ever, screaming kids included.

Higher than the 4th of July

Blue sequin top: Deb Shops; Red shorts: Forever 21; Heart-shaped sunglasses: Charlotte Russe; Denim shirt: Nordstrom Rack; Striped dress: Hollister; Red polka dot wedges: TJ Maxx; Cream & red bow bag: Betsey Johnson; Floral bralette and American flag boots: Forever 21; Purple jean shorts: Ebay; Rebel Spirit fringe top: TJ Maxx; Jean shorts: GAP + DIY paint; Green horn necklace: Forever 21; On lips: Mehron lipstick in Green

Not having many patriotic prints in my closet, I figured I'd maneuver colors and other varieties. I think florals, denim, and pin-up style scream classic Americana. Although mixing red, white and blue may seem cheesy, you can easily make it work by sneaking them in with different prints. On a more personal note, I rediscovered my middle school Hollister dress which no longer fits my boobs properly - the bold lace bra makes it look super cute and gives it a retro vibe. Happy 4th y'all!
